Here's what you need to know:
Title: AP Specialist
Role Type: Direct Hire
Location: Hybrid after training period
Compensation: $50k-$60k DOE
What you'll be doing:
Confirm approval for all invoices and check requests
Assign appropriate codes to invoices for categorization in GL accounts
Proficiency in handling check processing
Maintain and regularly update vendor database records
Efficiently process and input a high volume of invoices weekly
Reconcile statements from vendors to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Promptly handle rush items, processing and following up as needed
Organize and manage accounts payable files for easy accessibility
Prepare 1099 forms as required
What you'll need to be considered:
3 years of high-volume AP experience
Excellent people skills
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
Attention to detail
Strong organization skills
